We had lots of fun doing this. We had one of these kits before it didn’t work out at all. I’m assuming the colours froze because they were all liquidy whereas these are more gel like so. It works very well. Very happy with it. It has instructions which is great and instead of using whole package the powder with 2 L of water I used half the package with 1 L so that we could use them more. We waited the four hours as suggested to play with them, and they are super rubbery as you can see in the pic

The magic elf water kit came in an amazing organized good looking container. My 3 & 7 year old girls love this set because they love making their own little squish water animals.
